Slack Blogger ALERT!!!!

OK so I can honestly say that I don't know where the time has gone and I know that alot of it is spent at work at the moment but I seem to have gotten a few things done:)

David and I were invited to a wedding in Port Macquarie last weekend and it was such a lovely break all we did was sleep yep seen a lot of Port!!!! but we had some time to sit down and chat and basically catch up which was lovely... We also managed to catch up with some friends that we hardly get to see and that is always a delight in my books. So while we were off to Port Katie was off to Uralla for Girl Guides with her first big camp out in a tent and yep surprise girls she slept in the tent!!! Creepy crawlies and all so proud of her... and Johno had a weekend split up between spending time with Grandad and Grandma and Uncle Dave and Aunty Haileys he had a wonderful time...

Katie has just completed her junior BP badge with girl guides on Tuesday night and even though it was hectic it is great to see the achievement at the end of the road... now all we have to do is organise a presentation day for it....more stuff to do!!!

Because she had to do patrol unit as her final section with this badge we took the donut machine down and the girls had to work in their units to make their own donuts with help of course...but while some were busy with the donut machine we had to come up with some activities for the other girls to do while they had to wait for their turn. So they had a halloween find a word to complete along with making these cool little spiders and a little trick and treat scavange hunt...no wonder I am exhausted and I haven't started to think about the dreaded Christmas things yet....

Even though I have been busy with other activities I have still managed to fit in a few scrapbooking pages so I hope you enjoy....

Here is my adorable little neice and soon there will be another one on the way yep Aunty Hailey is pregnant and we are all really excited about it...

This photo is as old as the hills - not joking it was taken when we had the last Christmas with my Grandmother before she passed away - I haven't been able to find the heart to do alot of those pages but I will get them done one day I promise...

This is Johno's new fish pinstripe the other one I posted when Lenny sadly passed away and it was a bit much to handle on all of us family members as we had him for a long time but welcome to the family pinstripe...

Be back soon with some more stuff....lots of hugs jen xoxoxox

Slack blogger alert****

Yes I know that I have been a bit slack on the blog thing but I have been so busy and haven't had the chance to really keep in touch with you guys. So what has been happening in this neck of the woods besides work we went to Johns soccer grand final last Saturday morning in the middle of the dust storm and the boys were the CHAMPIONS so congrats boys....it was very exciting to be there. Then we came home to get ready to head off to a karate tornament in Newcastle where John came third in personal board break and while I was there of course I stopped in at Shop and Crop...

So here is John with his bronze medal from the weekend in Newcastle yes page already scrapped thanks to a kit from Shop and Crop and my wonderful friend Deb the designer

This was another kit from shop and crop and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it as I had the perfect photo....

This one is of my niece Willow and I just love this page....

I finally have gotten to scrap one of the photos from my sisters wedding which was in August a bit slack but really not alot of time in this household...

This one is of my dear girlfriends son Sam on his second birthday and I think that the sassafrass papers work wonderfully with this photo....

Well I am off to post another lot of pages up yes I have been busy and slack at the same time I just can't decide which on it is....lots of hugs jen xoxoxo

up for some Tarisota Goodness.....

Ok we all know that I am a big Tarisota lover and I think I can't speak more highly of the kits that arrive on my doorstep but I have found that I haven't been using up my kits as the next one arrives before I finish with the old and can't help myself but have to let the goodness of the box rush open by having my daughter open it just for the little chocolate treats that come along with it...So this week I turned on the computer and went back to some of the old collections and found a few layout designs that I liked and basically scraplifted them so I could throw away a few empty pizzas boxes from my ever growing supply of them honestly I don't know where they come from (the pizza boxes that is)
So I hope you enjoy then next few pages and I have added a few little things from my stash but all in all I am pretty happy to say that I got to throw away two pizza boxes with next to nothing left yipppeeee..... only makes more room for the next pizza box (lol)

Have a great day and I will hope not to be so slack this week but we are also off to Newcastle on Saturday after John plays in his soccer grand final for Karate...so we will have to see how all goes...luv and hugs jen xoxoxo

Busy little thing I have been

So apart from trying to go to work keep a household under control - thats funny!!! keep the kids from screaming down the walls and the usual run around after the kids and try and keep myself sane I have managed to squeezed in a few bits that I have been dying to get in and finish so here is a bit of an update with some stuff that I have been working on...

I have been meaning to scrapbook this photo for a while as Katie has just got her Bronze Endeavour which is half way to her Junior BP Badge for Girl Guides this award has taken alot of work and she only has one more section to complete and she has completed her Junior BP...excellent work Katie Kirk

John not long ago turned 11 and I loved these Basic Grey June Bug papers and I must admit love how this page has turned out....oh by the way the new Basic Grey christmas range is to die for how to I know??? I just got my order in oh yummy....its so pretty but it has a lot of pink in it this year...Aunty Annie will be happy

Sassafrass Lass papers who in the world doesn't like these little whimsy paper collections is mad mad I tell you I love them and oh the little to die for pears on this paper oh so cute....

Some more My Little Shoe Box and anyone who knows me well knows that I love owls and I just couldn't walk away from these cute little owls...

Where has the time gone!!!

I honestly can say I don't know where the time has passed and it seems to have gone way to quick....This weekend was the end of Katies Hockey for the year and presentation day was on Saturday. Katie loves her hockey

Sunday was a big day for us as a family as John went to his first ISCA tornament for Karate here in Tamworth and the exciting part of it all is that in his point sparing he came 3rd we are all so proud of him...

Now for some scrapbooking these are the new My little shoe box papers and I just had to have them along with everything else that I own but oppps they are so darn cute!!!
The photo is of Katie and Rhianna and they have such a special bond....

I also got around to making some more card thingo's as I have that many scraps and promised myself that I would be cleaning up all the bits and bobs as I used them but never quite happens that way but oh well.....

These little gems are some of my chrissy presents instead of making fully scrapbooked mini albums like I normally do I have cheated and purchased a kit from Shop and Crop which my wonderful dear friend Deb came up with but don't be offended Deb you know me I have to put my own little touches on things...oh by the way I love making these little flowers lately I have put them on everything....

Well I better get into another post as I have lots to share I have been quite a busy little beaver and time is running out so must get scooting...luv and hugs jen xoxoxox
