oh my gosh!!!!

oh my where has the time gone it feels like I have just blinked and the months are rolling on by - its pretty scary soon the kids will be at school again and then the preparations for the dreaded Easter arrives..... I can't believe that my last entry was November 9 that is nearly two whole months of not doing anything with my blog site its pretty bad isn't it....So here is the update.....I was lucky enough to get my hands on part of the Tarisota kit and it was such a lovely exciting day to open it up and all the lovely and exciting classes that came along with it - yep I did manage to get a few done whilst work was closed over the five days and we had nothing but rain but oh it was soooooo good to be able to lock ourselves inside and bum around a bit and we don't get to spend alot of time together as a family so with no travelling to be done and some time indoors was very much welcomed. I got to catch up with my lovely girlfriends who are very much part of my family and have been forever and a day and that will never change but the other day we also got to catch up for some devine scrapbooking time....love this time wish there was more of it shall try and make a note to oneself to organise it a few more times this year.

I also got to participate in the fun cook book put together by us mad loving scrapbooking people over on the Tarisota blog site and was a lot of fun and I was thrilled that I got to be apart of it - have to learn how to put links on my blog mental note to oneself....lots of things I want to do this year and heaps of things I so much want to give a go so bring on 2010.....

So on with the scrappin' show... as I was saying earlier I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Tarisota kit and got to do some amazing classes on line with some amazing gals...this first one was by the wonderful Ngaire and I actually think it was suppose to be a 12 x 12 project but because the kit didn't come with enough stuff to make everything I was lucky enough to have in my stash a mini pad of the papers that were used and came up with a mini canvas and minus a few little things but I do love it Ngaire and I hope that you don't mind that I had to change a few bits not much though...

Another mini book from the Tarisota kit and this was from the wonderful Rachel Tucker oh my if you get a chance to check out her blog go and see it is just wonderful and sooooo pretty and wow!!!

Another project off the Tarisota by Gigi and it looks fantastic I really don't think that the photo does it any justice and it is all stitched just the way Jen likes it:)

This is my 25 days of Christmas book and yes it is a mickey mouse chrissy book as any one who knows Jen knows that she loves Mickey Mouse sad but true so when this little idea popped up on Ngaire's blog - yes I do stalk the odd idol I just picked it up and ran with it but last year I actually did do it over the 25 days and watched it come together this year because of work commitments and everthing else I was sooooo far behind with I kept track of what we did in my diary and transfered it all over in this little exploding book on boxing day - see what happens when there is not a single shop open in this town.....

This little project is just so devine and even though it has been a work in progress a very long work in progress!!!! I have finally completed it and I am cheering. The papers are from Stampin' Up and it went so well with Katies princess party that I could not help but put them together but it just took a little longer than normal....

Well shall be back in a mini feel like I have to share with you my little bit of five days off and happy scrappin' stuff feeling.....hugs and kisses jen xoxoxox

Getting there!!!

I really don't know where the time has gone and I am terribly sadden to say that this month I missed out on the lovely tarisota kit which I buy every month but missed out so terribly saddened and drooling over what is in the gallery and I must say to my dear friend Deb gorgeous gorgeous and I love love love all of your work.

As we know at the moment I get lucky enough to look after my little neice willow whilst her poor mummy gets to go to work but that is good for me as I get to have lots of photo opportunities and alot more to scrapbook...Mum took this photo of willow and I and I just had to scrap it...

I was honoured to be asked by my dear girlfriend Kel if I would take some shoots of the twins in some santa hats etc and of course I couldn't say no as they are so adorable so I went to town and took a whole heap of shots in the process of the day. So I have got Sam and Harry, Willow and Katie so enjoy...I used the eskimo kisses papers by Basic Grey - they are so lovely to work with and they are a bit on the trendy side so super cool....

Super cute....

A heart full of sweetness....

Even though I missed the latest Tarosita collection I did manage to get in and purchase the halloween one which was full of spooky stuff - not really it is super awesome though...this kit came with special projects and my dear friend Deb has been trying to get me to sign up for a Suzi Blu class forever yep that is right forever and now I am just going to have to because our lovely little friend Jilly drew this baby doll and I had so much fun dressing her on canvas it is really quite scary so now I am heading over to learn how to do these dolls myself because imagine the clothes I can come up with a fairy would be soooooo cute yep I'm addicted sign me up...

There has been so much happening in our household that I am pretty pleased with my little efforts and I must tell you all that I have finally signed up for a photography class and my first lesson was last night yes a little dawnting but alot was to be learnt and I am looking forward to next weeks lessons already....Chrissy is about six weeks away and I am so far behind in Em Falconbridges 52 questions I don't even know if I will catch up but hopefully I will. Till next chat have a great day lots of hugs and kisses jen xooxoxox

Some Spook-a-licious

Ok now you can all start shaking your heads wondering where I get the time because I don't even know but this year another added extra to my days cause they are not full enough - lol- Halloween has hit the Australian Shore lines and with that I have to say that this year we have been invited to three halloween parties yep you read right three!!!!!
So the first one off the rank is John is going to his mates and I made these cute little treats for him to take I think they look great!!!!

This is a page I did using Sassafrass lass papers love these funky bright papers they are awesome....

This one is of the four older cousins and I had a little of this paper left over so I thought that this would be the perfect picture for it....

This photo was taken at Johns birthday party at Lake Keepit and I just used a few left over papers for this one but I love how it turned out....

Johno and his Karate trophy how proud he is......

Some exciting news Tarisota brought out a special edition halloween kit and yep I got my little hands on it sooooooo excited cause the restuarant is closed for a couple of days next week and I have so many plans but I bet you none of them get done but I can always hope.... have a great day lots of love jen xoxoxoxo

Some scrappin' to share

Even though things have been a little crazy over the last couple of weeks I have still managed to get some pages done so here is a little bit to share with you all...

This photo is of Ngaire and myself - I loved catching up with Ngaire and it was such a joy to meet Jilly out at the Lake Keepit weekend that my dear dear friend Deb Godley organised but I must tell you all that I was terribly upset when I went to Deb's blog to find out that she has resigned from the Shop and Crop design team but I hope that she still finds time to scrap with all of us nutty friends.... I love my Deb and she knows I think she is wonderful so I wish you all the best in your arty adventure...I have my fingers and toes and everything crossed in the hope that this year you will become a Master xoxoxo

This photo was taken at Disney on Ice and it is really rare to get a good photo of Johno so I was pleased when I got these processed....

The good old Queen Victoria Building in all her glory ohhhhhhh.....how beautiful....love love loved this building not to mention the shopping and the high noon tea that went along with the day....

This photo makes my heart sing as John loves his playstation and he is sitting here trying to teach Grandma how to play it....Go Grandma!!!

This is another old photo - I don't know where they keep on springing up from but this is Brenda and Katie in the spa having lots of fun and this pair do when they get together as Brenda lives in Sydney....

Be back soon with some more I know 3 updates in one morning I'm on a roll... lol ..... hugs jen xoxoxxo

Slack Blogger ALERT!!!!

OK so I can honestly say that I don't know where the time has gone and I know that alot of it is spent at work at the moment but I seem to have gotten a few things done:)

David and I were invited to a wedding in Port Macquarie last weekend and it was such a lovely break all we did was sleep yep seen a lot of Port!!!! but we had some time to sit down and chat and basically catch up which was lovely... We also managed to catch up with some friends that we hardly get to see and that is always a delight in my books. So while we were off to Port Katie was off to Uralla for Girl Guides with her first big camp out in a tent and yep surprise girls she slept in the tent!!! Creepy crawlies and all so proud of her... and Johno had a weekend split up between spending time with Grandad and Grandma and Uncle Dave and Aunty Haileys he had a wonderful time...

Katie has just completed her junior BP badge with girl guides on Tuesday night and even though it was hectic it is great to see the achievement at the end of the road... now all we have to do is organise a presentation day for it....more stuff to do!!!

Because she had to do patrol unit as her final section with this badge we took the donut machine down and the girls had to work in their units to make their own donuts with help of course...but while some were busy with the donut machine we had to come up with some activities for the other girls to do while they had to wait for their turn. So they had a halloween find a word to complete along with making these cool little spiders and a little trick and treat scavange hunt...no wonder I am exhausted and I haven't started to think about the dreaded Christmas things yet....

Even though I have been busy with other activities I have still managed to fit in a few scrapbooking pages so I hope you enjoy....

Here is my adorable little neice and soon there will be another one on the way yep Aunty Hailey is pregnant and we are all really excited about it...

This photo is as old as the hills - not joking it was taken when we had the last Christmas with my Grandmother before she passed away - I haven't been able to find the heart to do alot of those pages but I will get them done one day I promise...

This is Johno's new fish pinstripe the other one I posted when Lenny sadly passed away and it was a bit much to handle on all of us family members as we had him for a long time but welcome to the family pinstripe...

Be back soon with some more stuff....lots of hugs jen xoxoxox

Well I suppose I better get off the computer time is ticking away and I have to get to work which is not much fun and this damn day light saving is not good for me I am soooo tired it makes it so hard but lucky for us the kids are on school holidays so it gives them time to adjust....have a great day lots of hugs jen xoxoxox

Slack blogger alert****

Yes I know that I have been a bit slack on the blog thing but I have been so busy and haven't had the chance to really keep in touch with you guys. So what has been happening in this neck of the woods besides work we went to Johns soccer grand final last Saturday morning in the middle of the dust storm and the boys were the CHAMPIONS so congrats boys....it was very exciting to be there. Then we came home to get ready to head off to a karate tornament in Newcastle where John came third in personal board break and while I was there of course I stopped in at Shop and Crop...

So here is John with his bronze medal from the weekend in Newcastle yes page already scrapped thanks to a kit from Shop and Crop and my wonderful friend Deb the designer

This was another kit from shop and crop and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it as I had the perfect photo....

This one is of my niece Willow and I just love this page....

I finally have gotten to scrap one of the photos from my sisters wedding which was in August a bit slack but really not alot of time in this household...

This one is of my dear girlfriends son Sam on his second birthday and I think that the sassafrass papers work wonderfully with this photo....

Well I am off to post another lot of pages up yes I have been busy and slack at the same time I just can't decide which on it is....lots of hugs jen xoxoxo
