I'm back and its late....

Yep it has been one of those days where everything just doesn't seem to work out the way you had it all mapped out in your little head but hey that is life.....
I'm nearly back on track with my photo a day and so lets get on with the show......

Day 11 I took the kids over to their favourite past time at the moment feeding the ducks....

So in love with these beautiful flowers just had to take a couple of snap shots....

And this is a snippet of what Tamworth starts out looking like and then it gets busy. They are setting up the park for the opening night.....lots of people, lots of noise and lots of good memories for all to have...



Miss Katie had her dear little friend Sarah over today and they played dollies as they always do....oh to be young.....



Down the street.....yep I did brave it today and came across this band who are just awesome.....they played alot of blues and it was soooooo good and lots of fun. Even though it was hot it was great to sit there and hear them play....if anyone from Tamworth is interested in catching a glimpse of these fellows they are just a bit down the road from Hogs breath oh and better tell you they are on the other side.....sooooo worth a look....



And this pic I had to share today it is was a lot of fun to sit and watch this kelpie do so many little tricks and the kids just fell in love with the whole act....he and his pup Molly are just out the front of the Post office - well they were today.....

Photo a day update....

As we all know at this time of the year Tamworth gets a little crazy so my plans are to show you some of the things that happen during country music through my photo a day.....but for now lets get back up to date with the whole thing so here we go

On this morning I had the urge to get my new external flash that hubby bought me for Christmas and decided to have a play even though I had heaps of other things to do.... but it seems to take out the shadows which is really cool.....



This was as close as our little Katie was going to let us get to her breakfast....the joys of summer...yum!!! It was the last one in the fridge that day too...she is one spoilt chicken....



Johno hardly ever plays with me and the camera so when he said take a silly photo of me I jumped at the chance who wouldn't??? I so love his hair colour....he doesn't....



Playing around at Bicentanial Park its a beautiful park where there are heaps of things to keep the keen photographer of the family happy...yes you will see many photos taken at this beautiful park....



Well I best go and sort out a few more things so I can update later on or in a while but the kettle is boiled and I have to get to work so I hope to get back and finish up and get up to date with my photo a day challenge by the end of today...have a happy sunfilled day...lots of love jen xoxoxo

Hello there!

Well just before I have to dart off to work I thought that I would up load my last two days worth of photos for the day....

On Monday night I was lucky enough to baby sit my little niece over night and in the morning couldn't resist capturing it on camera.....



Dreaming sweet nothings.....more likely about Dora!!!


Most people who know me well know that I volunteer up at Ronald McDonald house and today was my volunteer shift but there wasn't anyone in the house so I didn't have to go in today but I find this work rewarding.....



Well now I'm off for a shower to get ready to go to work as I have been to the gym this morning at 5.30am so I think I better lol. Have a fun fabulous day and I will catch up with you all again soon.....lots of love and hugs jen xoxoxo

I'm back.....

I sat up way to late last night and tried to do so many things with my blog it was scary but I got a new look which was a good thing and I have to sit down and work on a few other bits but don't you just love my photo of the town clock? I do it has that Twilight feeling about it and I love it....by the way this photo is not altered on what to do you call it photo shop no I was up at about 10.30pm one night and went over and got to play with my camera and just perfect wouldn't you say....

So in amongst alot of things last night and a few added entries just to keep everyone on the hop.... I tried uploading the last of these few photos and the darn computer had a hissy fit but all is well now so hope you like having a browse through my little update....

This is another photo I took early in the morning for my photography lesson....I just love the boarder and no no photoshop I really must learn how to use that thing to my full advantage but hey its another thing on my to do list.....Aren't they just sooooo pretty they look like something out of a fairy tale book and sooooo in love...Used the Tarisota collection again for this one and ohhhhhh so pretty. Have I told you the new one is up.....go take a look beautiful and yes mine is coming as I have subscribed yahhhhh!!!!!



I would just like to say this is not my every day look but halloween last year was a lot of fun though I must say I have to put the papers away for a while as I am getting a bit sick of them but sooooo love the oookkyyy spooky feel......



This photo I love and have to admit I don't know who took it I think it was Terry (Davids father) when the kids went to Inverell as I had to work a full weekend and Steve, Shirley and Chloe were down isn't she cute.....These papers went beautifully...

Must go off to work today not a lot of sleep disappointed I didn't go to the gym and oh forgot to tell you my little niece Willow got to sleep over at her Aunty Jen's last night and the little cuddle bug is still wrapped up and asleep in her cousins room - they're not snoring or not that I can hear as I'm in the office.....hope you all have a wonderful day will be back later with my photo for the day.....luv jen xoxoxox

A Photo A Day....

OK so the latest fade at the moment is a photo a day I am truely hoping to keep up with this one as I do love to take alot of photos so lets give it a go.....

Day One...a photo of my 25 days of Christmas book....



Day Two....Was watching a Bon Jovi DVD and couldn't help myself....anyone who knows me well knows I'm in love with him....



Day Three....Montana, John, Katie and Haylen playing in the pool whilst we scrapbooked....perfect day....



Day Four....Willows 1st day at preschool and I got to take her along with the rest of the clan....we must have looked like the mob when we all walked in ready to deliver her....sooooo cute as she sat up in the booster seat....look at her little ponnie tails aren't they cute....I can remember when Katie had them (thats after she got hair!!!!)

Like I Promised

Well I am back and so excited that I have a few projects to share with you so lets get started.....

Another Chrissy Tarisota kit project girls if you get one chance to purchase anything this year make it a Tarisota kit so you can understand why I love love love them soooooo much they are filled with such goodness that it makes your heart tingle when you have that little box in your hand and you can't sign for it quick enough when it gets to the door so you can rip it apart and soak up the goodness.....I've been known to take them into work cause the postie has turned up as I am walking out the door and I stand still for five minutes so I have seen and felt everthing that comes in such a delightful parcel....so please do your self a favour and purchase one or subscribe it is cheaper and sooooo worth every penny....



I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to take a set of portraits of my dear friend Helenas children and this is the devine Miss Georgie who has battled with leukemia and is truly such an amazing story from all family members and I'm lucky enough to be called their Aunty Jenny and I can't speak enough of these wonderful wonderful people.....



Some spookie fun....yep finally got around to using up some of my wonderful halloween papers and stuff....I bought the Tarisota special limited edition kit and topped it up with some Basic Grey Eerie collection as there was not enough in the kit to do as many pages as I needed.....

oh my gosh!!!!

oh my where has the time gone it feels like I have just blinked and the months are rolling on by - its pretty scary soon the kids will be at school again and then the preparations for the dreaded Easter arrives..... I can't believe that my last entry was November 9 that is nearly two whole months of not doing anything with my blog site its pretty bad isn't it....So here is the update.....I was lucky enough to get my hands on part of the Tarisota kit and it was such a lovely exciting day to open it up and all the lovely and exciting classes that came along with it - yep I did manage to get a few done whilst work was closed over the five days and we had nothing but rain but oh it was soooooo good to be able to lock ourselves inside and bum around a bit and we don't get to spend alot of time together as a family so with no travelling to be done and some time indoors was very much welcomed. I got to catch up with my lovely girlfriends who are very much part of my family and have been forever and a day and that will never change but the other day we also got to catch up for some devine scrapbooking time....love this time wish there was more of it shall try and make a note to oneself to organise it a few more times this year.

I also got to participate in the fun cook book put together by us mad loving scrapbooking people over on the Tarisota blog site and was a lot of fun and I was thrilled that I got to be apart of it - have to learn how to put links on my blog mental note to oneself....lots of things I want to do this year and heaps of things I so much want to give a go so bring on 2010.....

So on with the scrappin' show... as I was saying earlier I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Tarisota kit and got to do some amazing classes on line with some amazing gals...this first one was by the wonderful Ngaire and I actually think it was suppose to be a 12 x 12 project but because the kit didn't come with enough stuff to make everything I was lucky enough to have in my stash a mini pad of the papers that were used and came up with a mini canvas and minus a few little things but I do love it Ngaire and I hope that you don't mind that I had to change a few bits not much though...



Another mini book from the Tarisota kit and this was from the wonderful Rachel Tucker oh my if you get a chance to check out her blog go and see it is just wonderful and sooooo pretty and wow!!!



Another project off the Tarisota by Gigi and it looks fantastic I really don't think that the photo does it any justice and it is all stitched just the way Jen likes it:)



This is my 25 days of Christmas book and yes it is a mickey mouse chrissy book as any one who knows Jen knows that she loves Mickey Mouse sad but true so when this little idea popped up on Ngaire's blog - yes I do stalk the odd idol I just picked it up and ran with it but last year I actually did do it over the 25 days and watched it come together this year because of work commitments and everthing else I was sooooo far behind with I kept track of what we did in my diary and transfered it all over in this little exploding book on boxing day - see what happens when there is not a single shop open in this town.....



This little project is just so devine and even though it has been a work in progress a very long work in progress!!!! I have finally completed it and I am cheering. The papers are from Stampin' Up and it went so well with Katies princess party that I could not help but put them together but it just took a little longer than normal....



Well shall be back in a mini feel like I have to share with you my little bit of five days off and happy scrappin' stuff feeling.....hugs and kisses jen xoxoxox
