So Katie, Rhianna and I went into Charlestown Square and we seen yep the one and only Dora...Katie was so excited....it was packed with kids and they were literally everywhere...lots of fun

Off to Sydney we Go!!!!

Yes girls I did drive into the city with Katie and our family friends daughter who is going through a very rough time at the moment so we thought we would treat ourselves to a day in the city...thank goodness for GPS...don't they make the world go around!!!!

So we set off in the morning and headed straight for Chinatown...when we get there we are a little disappointed that it wasn't at all what we expected so we were a little disappointed but still went for a little wonder and we were glad we did because we happened to fall literally onto a chinese garden smack bang in the middle of Darling Harbour - I think that is what it is called...anyway we decide to go in and of course there is a small charge and then as we are walking around we find this little dress up shop in the middle of the gardens, we walk over and find that they have all these beautiful traditional gowns that you can hire and stroll around in the park and take photos on your own camera.....jackpot....so we all got into costume and wandered around the gardens - it took us about three hours by the time we had finished but boy it was worth it....
This is our Princess Katie and of course in the only true colour she knows...PINK....

This is what the three of us looked like...it was heaps of fun and an experience that none of us would ever forget....

Then as promised I took the girls to the Girl Guide shop and let them loose...big mistake....huge....they were like kids in a candy store that have never seen candy before....so excited and it was great to see the only problem now is that I have extra badges to stitch onto Katies Girl Guide blanket oh well like she said you let me buy them.....

Now for the exciting bit of news for this day...anyone who know Jen knows that she loves to cook....Donna Hay is my favourite mag that I love to buy and I believe that she is the BOMB yep I worship the ground she walks upon...so excited....She has just recently opened a new shop in Sydney and yep you guessed it I got to go oh.....so lovey.....so pretty and oh just heaven in a bowl.....

Where is the time going???

I truly can say that I don't know where the time has gone. In our little household we have just come out of the birthday season and there will be lots of photos to scrap but at the moment we are trying to get to work, keep the kids motivated to go to school - we are on the last few days of the term now, get organised to get to Newcastle for our little holiday for the year and the list is endless. Today whilst at work I was also told there is only 177 days til Christmas oh my golly gosh....

So whilst we are thinking about holiday time I have already made the family journal up to complete whilst we are away. I used Sassafrass papers and a few bits and bobs left over from one of my favourite kits yep you guessed it the Tarisota collections yummy!!!

These cute little papers my gorgeous girlfriend Kel gave them to me for my birthday. They are the new October Afternoon and lovely and brightly coloured.

This is our Katie Kirk and her bundle of chocolate that she got for Easter yep and they are all hers.....

Some more stuff using the papers that Kel gave me and it only seemed fitting to use a photo of the pair of us together. Isn't she a doll....

And these photos I have had in the stash for quite some time now thought that I would have gotten around to them sooner but time is always in the road. I used some bits again out of a Tarisota collection. Love these kits as they come with heaps of lovely goodness in each little box and I can't wait for mine to land on my doorstep. This months is due soon and I haven't looked at last months yet opppssss...better get scrappin'

Now I am going to go and try to upload something won't tell you what unless it works and then I will be doing cartwheels from excitement. Lots of hugs jen xoxoxoxo
